The SABC-HLP iPSC Platform is dedicated to developing clinically translatable induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) technologies for regenerative medicine through strategic international collaboration. Working with a network of leading partners—including the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic (ASCR), Biotalentums, and Gold Liver—the platform focuses on establishing scalable manufacturing processes and producing high-quality iPSC-derived progenitor cells for future clinical applications.
iPSC Platform
Current achievements include the successful generation of iPSC-derived hepatic progenitor cells with high expansion efficiency while maintaining compatibility with cGMP manufacturing requirements. Preclinical studies have demonstrated promising therapeutic efficacy in animal models of liver failure, supporting the potential of these cells as a regenerative treatment for chronic and acute liver diseases. As the platform continues to advance, SABC-HLP aims to expand its iPSC portfolio to additional cell lineages, establish standardized quality control systems, and facilitate the translation of iPSC-derived therapeutics from research into clinical practice across Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
