cGMP MANUFACTURING HOSTEP
HLP is currently implementing the project of stem cell standardization. This project aims to contribute to the development of stem cell bioprocessing and manufacturing technology in line with the updated international standards on quality, safety, and effectiveness to meet the growing demand for stem cell therapy and healthcare in Vietnam and the region.
HOSTEP is an R&D manufacturing which has a land area of ​​9000 m2, construction area of ​​10000 m2, and designed according to FDA cGMP guidelines, including
Cryobanking system for reproductive and stem cell according to cGMP international standard
Technology R&D Center, which implements international technology transfer to create highly adaptable stem cell -gene products for research and medical application.
Pilot Manufactory Center, which develops stem cell products for scientific research, clinic therapy and pharmacetical industry.
Training Center, which provides training and services for the implementing HOSTEP-Hospitals stem cells therapy Network.
HLP cGMP Manufacturing HOSTEP (Hoa Lac Stem Cell Technology Platform) which is prioritized by the Government of Vietnam for investment in research and development is an important core component of the project.
HOSTEP is based in the R&D zone of Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park which has an area of ​​2500 hectares, 26km west of Hanoi center by Thang Long highway axis.
HOSTEP is oriented to operate with cutting-edge cell and gene technologies, equipped with an automatic equipment system, controlled by artificial intelligence autonomously optimized by digital and AI.
Operating as a technology center according to cGMP standards in the network stem cell clinic application and international technological transfer system, HOSTEP with the humane spirit, trust and innovation will be the trusted address of investors and the community.

HSC Stem Cell Technology Platform breaks ground at Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park
Hoa Lac Stem Cell JSC (HSC), a pioneer in the field of reproductive biotechnology and stem cell technology, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the HSC Stem Cell Technology Platform (HOSTEP) at Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park on November 11.
The event marked a significant milestone for HSC in its mission to promote the production and application of advanced stem cell technology to support research and treatment in Vietnam.
Located across around 10,000 square metres, HOSTEP is a research and development (R&D) platform aimed at advancing stem cell technology for research and treatment in Vietnam, adhering to cGMP standards (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) administered by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA). It also aims to meet the current demand for safe and effective stem cell applications in Vietnam, while also facilitating the transfer and adoption of new technologies in the future.
At the ceremony, Tran Van Thuan, Deputy Minister of Health cum chairman of the National Medical Council, emphasised, "This is a significant milestone in the strategy to develop stem cell technology in Vietnam, contributing to the establishment of a modern medical foundation based on advanced technology and dedicated to improving public health. Given clear directions and great support from the government, business sector, and researchers, stem cell science will soon become a key focus in Vietnam's healthcare system. We firmly believe that, with effective investment, HSC will achieve significant growth and become a flagship in stem cell technology. The Ministry of Health commits to support these aspirations."
HOA LAC HI-TECH PARK
Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park is a National Hi-tech Park with the scale of 1.586 ha and is developed to become a science city, a place that attracts investors in the research & development field; training and incubation; manufacturing hi-tech products in the fields: Biotechnology, Information - communication technology, New material technology and Automation technology. On the other hand, to become a science city, Hi-tech Park needs to attract investors of social infrastructure such as: housing, office, commercial centre, hospital, school, logistics, leisure...
To create an interesting environment for attracting investment, a modern infrastructure of equal to the region that are being built at Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park with the state budget and especially the ODA fund supported from Japan's Government.

Together with the Central Vaccine Institute, HLP has a monkey breeding facility on an isolated island in Ha Long Bay to serve vaccine research and pre-clinical trials.
