BIO-CRYOBANKING

HLP experts are the authors of the first successes in embryo freezing, frozen embryo transplantation and application of frozen human semen technology to treat infertility in Vietnam. Our cryobanking activities is deployed with the advantage of being conducted by experts in cryobiology, updating advanced cryopreservation technologies with high efficiency, open network of clinic therapy.

With the implementing of manufacturing platform according to international GMP-cGMP standards, products of HLP cryobank will be high quality vialabe biomaterials established for the purpose of biomedical research, public healthcare and developing regenerative medicine. The main cryopreservation systems include:

· Cryobank of stem cells and derivatives

. Cryobank of reproductive cells and tissues

· Ethnic diversity cryobank

Cryobank of reproductive cells and tissues includes viable biomaterials for infertility and related reproductive regeneration therapy needs. During the last decade, our scientists have successfully developed advanced reproductive biotechnologies such as artificial insemination, in vitro embryo production, embryo transfer, cryopreservation of gamete and embryo from diferent species. Cryobanking will be developed based on updating new technological innovations and cGMP production conditions.

Cryobank of stem cells and derivatives includes different types of mesenchymal stem cells to serve the preservation needs of the community. It also includes products after cell expansion, differentiation, gene editing... to serve the needs of clinical therapy, drug screening. Updating automatic equipment connected with bioinformatic and digital management system will ensure that HLP products are viable biomaterials of the highest quality for research and clinical therapy. 

Ethnic diversity cryobank is related to the unique multi-ethnic characteristics of Vietnam. Vietnam has 54 ethnic groups, including ethnic groups with only a few thousand people (Brau, O Du, Romam, Si La and Pu Peo). Our cryobank is linked to the international banking system and a multi-ethnic preservation program will be implemented.
