RESEARCH TECHNOLOGY

Through collaborative research and development projects and projects implemented over many years, HLP experts have mastered core technologies.

Applying the laws of anhydrobiosis and ontogenesis to cryopreservation research, HLP experts have successfully developed a method to preserve animal embryos at liquid nitrogen minus 196oC by rapid freezing after partial dehydration for the first time in the world.

Advanced Reproductive

Techniques

iSCNT Cloning

Starting with the first successful embryo transfer  experiment on rabbits in 1978, through technology transfer cooperation activities with advanced reproductive biotechnology centers in France, the US and Japan, HLP's experts have conducted innovation research to adapt the technology to local tropical non-standardized livestock farming conditions, creating optimal results in ovarian activity management,  embryo transfer, in vitro fertilization in differient  breeding species.

Somatic cell nuclear transfer technology has been developed in cooperation with Japanese experts for technology transfer and applied to preserve animals at high risk of extinction by interspecies cloning approach (iSCNT) in cattle, monkey, pig, Saola...
